(This is a poem based off reading Acts 14:5-18)

Can't you see I've come a long way

A long distance I can barely describe

Over hills, around mountains, across waters

Across so much, some wouldn't dare bare

Can't you see how I look in your heart

My heart aches because I long to share

I'll share all I know because I must

Must you turn from the love that I bare

Can't you see how my heart is breaking

Breaking down because you cling to what I despise

Despite all the missteps you've taken

I'll take the time to explain it again right

Can't you see that I don't want to leave

But you leave me no choice with all that you do

Do you think that I'm bluffing or just insincere

Sincerely my brother I bid you farewell
