A Short Prayer

This is just a short prayer that I composed this morning as I was reflecting on the following three pieces which are examples of daily spritual emails that I receive everyday.

Jesus,

I have so much to be thankful for. Thank you, all I have and am is because of you. Anywhere I am short is because I don't follow your way. Help me to love today. Help me to accept. Help me to disregard what others may say and think of me and help me to only focus on your love for me. That is all I need. St. John of Egypt please pray for me today. Pray that I may find peace, that I may fend off evil, and to be able to council others when needed as you did. Please also pray for my parish that we may all find time each day to spend with Jesus and learn from him like you did.
